TAG Foundation: Who Are We?: Global Generosity
The TAG Alliances are a significant part of the international business community, with the capacity and desire to help those in need. We are proud to join other prominent members of our community through the TAG Foundation.
Members of the TAG Alliances interact with one another on a daily basis, demonstrating the benefits a global alliance brings to clients around the world. While member firms are charitable in their local jurisdictions, often they do not have a trusted outlet to respond to needs elsewhere.
TAG Foundation provides a means for TAGLaw, TIAG and TAG-SP firms to contribute funds for charitable purposes around the world. With advice and counsel from a committee of advisors and from members in affected areas of the world, TAG Foundation funds provide aid to local charities around the world, most often in response to natural or other disasters. Since its founding, the TAG Foundation has donated over $150,000 to disaster stricken areas around the globe.
We encourage contributions at any time, so that resources are available to respond at the time a crisis occurs. Contributions can be made through paypal, check or wire transfer (instructions shown right).

TAG Foundation Initiatives
Hurricane Harvey in Texas
August 2017, Hurricane Harvey became the costliest tropical cyclone on record and devestated the Houston metropolitan area. Houston is a unique city within the TAG Alliances community, because it is the only city in the world where we have TAGLaw, TIAG, and TAG-SP members in addition to a “Best Friend of TAG”. Additionally, our own team member, Lourdes Allende, lives and works in the Houston area. In the storm's aftermath, TAG Foundation trustees approved the immediate disbursement of $5,000 USD to the Houston Food Bank.
Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico
In September 2017, Hurricane Maria caused catastrophic damage and triggered a major humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico, which had already been hit by Hurricane Irma. With advice from TAG Alliances members on the island, TAG Foundation disbursed $5,000 to United Way's hurricane relief efforts.
Earthquakes in Mexico
In September 2017, two massive earthquakes caused severe damage and hundreds of casualties in Mexico. With the help of local members, TAG Foundation disbursed $5,000 to Fundación ACIR to support the reconstruction of five classrooms for indigenous children and young people located in the Mixteca and Costa del Estado of Oaxaca that were affected by the earthquakes.
