TAG Foundation: Who Are We?: Global Generosity
The TAG Alliances are a significant part of the international business community, with the capacity and desire to help those in need. We are proud to join other prominent members of our community through the TAG Foundation.
Members of the TAG Alliances interact with one another on a daily basis, demonstrating the benefits a global alliance brings to clients around the world. While member firms are charitable in their local jurisdictions, often they do not have a trusted outlet to respond to needs elsewhere.
TAG Foundation provides a means for TAGLaw, TIAG and TAG-SP firms to contribute funds for charitable purposes around the world. With advice and counsel from a committee of advisors and from members in affected areas of the world, TAG Foundation funds provide aid to local charities around the world, most often in response to natural or other disasters. Since its founding, the TAG Foundation has donated over $150,000 to disaster stricken areas around the globe.
We encourage contributions at any time, so that resources are available to respond at the time a crisis occurs. Contributions can be made through paypal, check or wire transfer (instructions shown right).

TAG Foundation Initiatives
Fall 2016: Hurricane Matthew Relief
Although we do not currently have a member in Haiti, in October when Hurricane Matthew swept through the country leaving catastrophic damage in its wake, TAG Foundation turned to longtime beneficiary, ShelterBox to help. With a $2500 donation from TAG Foundation, ShelterBox will provide shelter, water and other basic needs to citizens on the island.
Fall 2016: Flooding in Louisiana
Around the same time, prolonged rainfall in southern Lousiana resulted in massive flooding that submerged thousands of homes and businesses. With a recommendation from local TAGLaw Member, Milling Benson, TAG Foundation donated $2,500 to Second Harvest. A local food bank in the area, Second Harvest distributed truckloads of water, food and cleaning supplies to those devestated by the floods.
