Haley Zhu-Butler’s passion lies at the intersection of law, technology, and data privacy, as she holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics from Tulane University where she studied Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing. Her understanding of these fields empowers her to provide innovative solutions to her clients, ensuring they navigate complex legal challenges seamlessly through her understanding of the law and technology. She is admitted in Louisiana, Connecticut, and the District of Columbia.

She is CIPP/US certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, indicating her ability to advise clients on implementing privacy policy frameworks, data breach notification procedures, and compliance with U.S. state and federal privacy regulations, including CCPA, GLBA, HIPAA, HITECH, FCRA, and global data protection laws (GDPR).

Haley is a dedicated advocate for diversity in the legal profession. She serves on the board of the Louisiana Asian Pacific American Bar Association and previously served as President of the Loyola Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. Haley’s commitment to justice extends to her pro bono work, where she provides legal support to survivors of domestic violence.
