Guerrero Olivos Appoints New Director of the International Funds Area

Guerrero Olivos (Chile) has hired Joaquín Grondona, who was for the last five years the senior international analyst of the Chilean Risk Classification Commission (Comisión Clasificadora de Riesgo or CCR), the agency in charge of approving securities, including off shore funds, as eligible investments for Chilean institutional investors.

Joaquín will be joining the firm on October 13th as director of the International Funds Group, which is part of Guerrero Olivos Capital Markets practice area.

 

Joaquin_GrondonaJoaquín holds a Master of Science degree in finance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and he has been the senior international analyst of the CCR for the last five years.

In his new position, Joaquín will be handling full time all of our foreign funds clients' needs, including CCR approvals, SVS registrations and ongoing information requirements. We are certain that Mr. Grondona's deep knowledge of the funds industry and CCR's funds approval procedures will greatly benefit both our practice and our clients.
