Recently, China Business Law Journal (“the Journal”) published the A list of "China's Top100 Lawyers", selecting 100 professional lawyers in China practice. Dr. Shanshan Xu and Dr. Steven, both of whom are senior partners of Hiways Law Firm, sit on the list.
The A-List is based on extensive research conducted by the Journal. It turned to thousands of in-house counsel in China and around the world, as well as partners at Chinese and international law firms, and asked them which lawyers should make the cut. The final list reflects the nominations received combined with the Journal editorial team’s years of collective experience in documenting and analyzing China’s legal market.
The lawyers awarded on this list are all from the top law firms at home and abroad, of which about two-thirds of lawyers are from law firms in mainland China, one-third are from abroad law firms focusing on the businesses in China, and a quarter are women lawyers. The practicing areas of Lawyer Shengxing Yu are focused on corporate law, international investment law and international trade law, and the practicing areas of Lawyer Shanshan Xu are in customs affair and international trade, both of them have received a strong credibility in the field and are widely recognized by the customers because of their outstanding legal services.
