Share Purchase Agreement and Shareholders Agreement for the Transfer of the Shares of Akfen Holding A.Ş. in Mersin Uluslararası Liman İşletmeciliği A.Ş. corresponding to 40% of the Share Capital to Australian infrastructure fund IFM Investors, have been signed.

Erdem & Erdem represented Akfen Holding in the transaction both with respect to Turkish law and English law.

Erdem & Erdem has took part in leading domestic and international port projects and also partook in all the processes regarding the Mersin Port following its privatization. Therefore, as legal advisor to many landmark mergers and acquisitions of Turkish and foreign investors recently, from the beginning of the transaction, Erdem & Erdem team drafted the transaction documents and participated in the negotiations of the related agreements constituting the share transfer.
