Guerrero Olivos assisted long standing client Empresas Carozzi S.A. (“ECSA”), Multinational Corporation owned by the Bofill family and one of the largest groups in Latin America in the food and non-alcoholic drinks industries with significant domestic and international market presence, in the registration of two lines of bonds for a maximum amount of UF5.000.000 (equivalent to USD211 million approximately).
Deal Description
Bonds were registered with the Chilean Securities and Exchange Commission (SVS) on November 22, 2017.
Relevance of this transaction is that with these bonds, ECSA will be able to expand its funding options and obtain resources to refinance or restructure the group’s debts and to finance future acquisitions to expand its food business line.
