How We Reward Our Staff

Research shows that companies who regularly recognise employees tend to have a more engaged and productive workforce. Employee engagement is the holy grail of successful businesses so here at WMS we think that recognising and rewarding our staff is pretty important stuff.

We have partnered up with RED (Recognise Every Day) which is part of Red Balloon to deliver an innovative online platform for our Reward & Recognition program that directly ties in to our Five Core Principles: Love It, Grab the Helm, Shoot Straight, Fresh Eyes and One Team.

With the simple click of a button, staff can nominate their fellow peers for the monthly “High Five” awards or send a quick and thoughtful thank you note. Each month, all nominees are recognised for their awesome display of our cultural values, and points are allocated to each winner, which they can cash-in through the online shop. At the end of each year, five deserving winners are then chosen for a final Annual Core Principles Award.
