Swiss Certified Auditor
Managing Partner, Member of the Board of Directors
After my commercial training at the clothing company Nabholz AG in Schönenwerd, I was allowed to continue working at Nabholz AG/Lahco AG during my two-year military service until I was a second lieutenant. During this time, I gained valuable experience in the areas of business and financial accounting and IT, and was then part of the management team for about a year as commercial manager. During this time I realised that I lacked the necessary theoretical knowledge for a successful career.
Since numbers and logic are my world, it was clear to me that I wanted to further my education in this direction. In 1989 I decided to take a job as an audit assistant at Adr. Sudan AG für Revision und Steuerberatung in Olten (today Solidis Revisions AG), with the aim of further training to become a certified accountant. In 1992 I passed the exam to become a certified fiduciary and two years later a certified auditor.
Since 1994 I have been making an active contribution as a partner to the further development of our firm and to the benefit of our clients. The daily contact with our clients and their different requirements and problems are the salt in the soup of my work - so the supposedly boring "bean-counting" becomes an extremely interesting and varied job with constantly changing contacts and challenges.
For some years now, I have been a certified 9-Levels trainer & consultant for values-based leadership. This scientifically based analysis tool enables me to understand the inner values of my clients and to support them in achieving their goals.
The broad spectrum of practical experience and business knowledge, combined with my open, communicative nature, help me in my other activities as a board member, foundation board member, speaker and lecturer.
With my wife, two dogs and four cats, we spend our free time either at our home in Lostorf or in Arosa gardening, going for walks, hiking and philosophical discussions. As a member of the Rotary Club Olten and various non-for-profit organisations, I make an active contribution to the common good. After many years of competitive sports in alpine skiing, volleyball and football, some of them at the highest level, I am still very enthusiastic about sports, but I take it a little easier. I spend part of my free time skiing, telemark skiing, golfing, biking and fitness training.
