After he completed his training as a commercial employee at Baumaterial AG in Hägendorf. He joined SUDAN PARTNER AG as an audit assistant in April 1974. He obtained his certificate of proficiency in accountancy in 1980, moved to the ‚Kammerschule‘ college for tax counsels and obtained his diploma in auditing in 1984.
Kurt Frauchiger is married and is the father of three children. He was a councillor for the commune of Stüsslingen for several years, serving as the President of the commune from 1989 until 1997. From 1998 untill 2006, he has been President of the Heidental Stüsslingen/Lostorf Golf Club.
