Ioakim Thrasyvoulou is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus with a license to practice and a member of the International Tax Planning Association.
Mr. Thrasyvoulou commenced his career as an audit/accounting associate and then he joined the VAT department of PWC Cyprus, from which he was specialized in the provision of VAT advisory services to a number of multinational companies and some of the largest local companies, including companies engaged in Financial Services (FS), Intellectual Property (IP) and international trading sector.
In 2010 he joined APC as a Manager heading the Accounting and VAT department, which is servicing the financial reporting and VAT compliance needs of the firm’s clientele. By June 2011 he was appointed as a member of the board of Directors at APC and his professional career continued to focus on the international aspects of direct and indirect tax planning needs of international business. He is heading the Shipping and Luxury Yacht services division of the firm, which services the business needs of Ship owners and managers, Yacht owners, agents and brokers.
