Asif graduated in commerce from B.Z. University Multan in 1992 and joined Riaz Ahmad & Co, Chartered Accountants, Karachi and llyas Saleem & Co Chartered Accountants, Lahore for CA articles. He qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1999 and became member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, UK in 2001. Before starting practice he worked with a leading telecom company as Chief Financial Officer for couple of years.
He has gained extensive experience in development & preparation of accounting manuals and preparation of accounting systems and procedures, review of existing MIS, budgetary controls, costing, pricing policies and preparation of feasibility reports for projects of various business segments. He also possess good knowledge of Income tax, sales of individuals, partnerships and limited companies including appearing in appeals before Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) and Appellate Tribunal IRS, filing applications for refund of sales tax etc, along with handling corporate work for formation of limited companies and partnerships; Filing of various routine forms; Preparation of notices, agenda, minutes of meeting; maintaining statutory books of Companies.
