Lauren has extensive experience in International Tax, with over 10 years of experience both in the consulting and corporate space. Her in-house experience has allowed her to better understand what clients need from their trusted tax advisors, and has lead her to adopt a solutions-focussed and strategic approach in assisting clients navigate the ever-changing tax landscape impacting their business.
Lauren launched her tax career in KPMG’s expatriate and individuals tax team, whereafter she gained valuable experience working in the High Net Wealth and International Tax Teams of Webber Wentzel and subsequently KPMG. Lauren’s focus and passion is assisting companies expand into Africa (where her French-speaking abilities have proven useful in Francophone Africa). During her time as the in-house Africa Tax Leads at two large multi-national companies, Lauren also expanded her International Tax skills to include compliance (in both direct and indirect taxes, in various offshore jurisdictions), tax risk and dispute resolution management.
