Marcy’s goal is to always leave clients and team members alike in a better position than when they first came to her. Guided by her commitment to the firm and its stakeholders, her service leadership approach includes not only providing sound technical advice, but also using her expansive network inside and outside of the firm to create meaningful connections.
As an assurance partner, Marcy provides audit and consulting services to a variety of entities in the investment industry, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and hedge funds and has experience with some of the largest fund-servicing companies nationwide. She works with a mix of equity, fixed income, international, fund-of-funds, closed-end funds and private fund complexes. Experienced in the issues facing newly organized funds and funds with valuation challenges, she also has expertise in complex investments and derivatives, illiquid and hard-to-value securities, short sales, affiliated issuers, international securities and commodity funds. In addition, Marcy specializes in audits of collective investment trusts (CITs) and the unique issues associated with these funds.
As partner in charge of markets and industries, Marcy plays an active role in the firm’s growth through its business development and marketing initiatives, spanning several industry and geographic markets. This includes providing strategic direction regarding client experience, growth and branding initiatives. The clients Marcy works with — both investment advisers and board members — benefit from the unique perspective and additional depth that come from her activities in this area.
