Gürol Gündoğan graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics in 1995. After working at the General Directorate of National Real Estate, he served as a Finance Inspector under the Inspection Board of the Ministry of Finance between 1998-2007. He was assigned as an auditor at the Presidential State Audit Institution for a while, and also served as an expert at the Supreme Military Court. He completed his master's degree in Technology Management and Business Administration at the University of Illinois in the United States between 2005-2006. Between 2007-2007, he worked as the Group Head responsible for Collection and Special Consumption Tax at the Revenue Administration. In 2011, he voluntarily left his public job and started providing sworn financial consultancy and auditing services. In 2021, he joined A-1 Certified Public Accountant and Independent Audit Inc. as a partner.
