He graduated from the Department of International Relations of the Naval War College in 1986; after serving as Commander on various ships, he worked as an administrator and simultaneously as a lecturer in vocational courses at the Naval War College; and as an administrator in the fields of performance evaluation, career planning, personnel information systems, and development of management systems at the Naval Forces Personnel Presidency. He managed the Naval Forces Change Management Project for 4 years. He received his MA and PhD degrees in Management Sciences from Hacettepe University, and his MA degree in Public Relations and Publicity from Selçuk University. He worked as a consultant in the establishment of National Human Resources Standards and National Qualifications within the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK).
After voluntarily retiring from the Naval Forces in 2011, he served as the Director of Human Resources and Administrative Affairs at Akfen Holding A.Ş. between 2013-2021; He was selected as one of the 50 Most Influential HR Managers (CHROs) in Turkey in 2018 by Fortune Turkey and DataExpert. Between 2021-2023, he simultaneously served as "Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Foundation of Turkey" and "Chairman of the National Committee of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award-TURKEY". He worked as an instructor in the Human Resources Management Program conducted at TOBB University of Economics and Technology Continuing Education Center.
In addition to being a Trainer at the Quality Association of Turkey (KALDER), he is a Member of the Trainer Evaluation Committee and a Turkey Excellence Award Evaluator. In addition, he served as a Member of the Audit Board at KALDER between 2016-2018, and as a Member of the Ethics Board for 3 terms between 2018-2024. After serving as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the People Management Association of Turkey (PERYÖN) Central Anatolia Branch between 2014-2017 and as a Member of the Audit Board for 3 terms between 2017-2023, he has been a Member of the Supreme Board since 2023.
