Mike De Stefano abides by a simple motto: Leave things better than you found them. Throughout his career, Mike has strived to make positive contributions in roles of increasing responsibility and strategic purview in both public accounting and private industry.
Today, as Partner and Chief Operating Officer for the largest CPA and advisory firm based in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, Mike oversees RKL’s operations and support services, including finance, IT, HR, administrative support, and building and asset management. He navigates the many complexities involved in managing people, technology, and facilities and ensures RKL’s infrastructure can meet its needs today and into the future.
Mike started his public accounting career at RKL, serving in the firm’s Audit Services Group for 14 years before joining a Central PA-based petroleum wholesale and logistics company as controller and eventually CFO and VP of Finance. He returned to RKL in 2019 as CFO before his admittance to the firm partnership and promotion to the new COO role in 2022.
