Robert Stephens, CPA, is a partner with Mauldin & Jenkins in the Atlanta office, having joined the firm in February 2024. Robert graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1989 with a BSBA in Accounting and brings his 30+ years of experience to growing privately held businesses and non-profit organizations as a fractional Chief Financial Officer.
Since creating the CFO Navigator service offering in 2009, Robert has strived to turn his financial insight into clients' business foresight by bringing “Wall Street” worthy financial expertise to local “Main Street” companies.
Robert is also active in the philanthropic community, having served as Board Chairman for the Boys & Girls Club of Paulding and the North Paulding Band Foundation, as well as serving on the advisory boards of the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation, Kennesaw State University Entrepreneurship Center, and Starfish Greathearts Foundation (USA).
Robert is a member of the Georgia Society of CPA’s and very active in the Cobb Chamber, where he currently serves as Co-Chair of the Honorary Commanders and CEO Roundtable programs and is also a past Co-Chair of the Cobb Youth Leadership program. He is a member of Leadership Cobb Alumni (Class of 2015) and Honorary Commanders Alumni (Class of 2017), and his former practice was recognized as a Cobb Chamber Top 25 Small Business of the Year in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
