Andrew brings over 25 years of financial accounting and consulting experience to his role as partner at Mauldin & Jenkins, specializing in audits of public and private companies, including financial institutions, manufacturing, employee benefit plans, and Service Organization Controls (SOC) 1 and 2 audits. He is the Firm’s Designated Partner for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and leads the EBP Practice. In the financial institution practice area, Andrew is responsible for the ongoing servicing of financial institution clients, which includes overseeing the completion of engagements such as opinion audits and tax services, internal audits, SSAE 18 SOC audits, SOX 404 compliance services, information technology reviews and compliance issues, and management advisory services. He is responsible for on-site supervision of professional staff and their compliance with all professional and regulatory standards. Andrew has worked with Mauldin & Jenkins since 2013, and previously with Hazlett, Lewis & Bieter since graduating from Lipscomb University with a degree in Accounting and a concentration in Computer Information Systems in 1993. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Tennessee and serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee. Andrew is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
