Dean Dorton

Andrew has spent the duration of his professional career specializing in audit services within the construction industry. After joining Dean Dorton (formerly VonLehman) as a new college graduate, Andrew quickly found his place within the firm’s Construction Industry Group where he has honed his expertise over the last 19 years on his way to becoming a director. In addition to being an expert in construction industry assurance services, Andrew also leads the firm’s captive insurance audit practice.

Andrew has served as a member of the firm’s technical team and the Cincinnati market construction and real estate services leader.

Andrew is highly involved with the construction industry’s most prominent trade organiza-tions including ACI, ABC, and others, and he is a Certified Construction Industry Finan-cial Professional (CFMA). His favorite aspects of construction accounting are relationship building, complex problem solving, and succession planning.
