Melissa obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Account-ing from Morehead State University. Since that time, she has been practicing public accounting at Dean Dorton. The majority of her career has been spent providing tax plan-ning, compliance and accounting services for privately-held businesses and individuals.
