Dean Dorton

Kristen is an assurance director with more than 20 years of experience in public account-ing with a focus on audit, consulting, and advisory services. She has worked for global and regional accounting firms providing assurance services. Kristen has extensive audit and attestation experience in a variety of industries, including, life sciences, manufacturing, financial services, construction and nonprofit. She provides assurance services for employee benefit plans in a variety of industries. Kristen leads the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice and is the designated Partner for the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.

Kristen has experience assisting clients with complex accounting and reporting issues including the implementation of accounting standards, business combinations, impairment of intangible assets, and unusual transactions. She is responsible for the final review of financial statements prior to issuance. Kristen will be the director in charge of the audit and will be intimately involved in issuing our audit opinion and communication the results of the audit.
