John is a Partner in FGMK’s Estate and Succession Planning Practice. He has more than 25 years of experience providing planning and compliance services to business owners, high-net-worth individuals and fiduciaries in the areas of estate, gift, and income tax. He has consulted on the planning for numerous large gifts using sophisticated wealth transfer techniques, managed the reporting of complex gift and estate tax returns, and has represented clients at audits in these matters. John also oversees tax compliance and accounting for family partnerships and private foundations, as well as formal accountings for estate and trust distributions.
Prior to joining FGMK in 2014, John held positions at a national law firm, another local accounting firm, and was a trust administrator at a large bank. He also worked as a solo practitioner for several years.
