Sarah Lou Rockhead joins Hunte & Co. as a Consultant. She previously worked at Harney Westwood and Riegels LP (Harneys) where she practiced British Virgin Islands law for more than 21 years.
Sarah is a Transactional lawyer who started her career specializing in Banking and Finance matters and later moved on to Corporate and Commercial matters. In her Banking and Finance practice she advised international lending institutions and borrowers in relation to project/asset financing, syndicated and bilateral loans and other structured financing transactions. In her Corporate and Commercial practice, her focus is a wide range of general corporate matters, including advising in respect of restructuring, voluntary liquidations, continuations/re-domiciliations into and out of the BVI, mergers, consolidations and shareholder agreements/joint ventures.
Sarah’s clients at Harneys were mainly “magic circle” city of London law firms and top 25 US law firms but also included small startups and individual business owners. She brings to Hunte & Co. her wealth of experience with multimillion dollar deals and high net worth clients and businesses, including high value commercial and residential real estate and shipping.
Sarah believes in working according to the demands of the deal rather than working with an eye on the clock - the practice of law is not a 9 to 5 job.
