James’s corporate governance experience also includes a number of matters relating to shareholder activism, including assisting shareholders and members to requisition meetings of listed, unlisted, and not for profit bodies, and advising with respect to meeting practice and procedure.
James also advises clients with respect to their obligations under financial services laws including providing financial services advice, dealing in a wide range of financial products (including interests in securities, managed investment schemes, and limited partnerships established in Australia and overseas), and has advised with respect to the establishment and operation of a number of wholesale managed investment schemes investing in agricultural and infrastructure sectors.
