Grace has extensive experience in Indian law, environmental and natural resource laws, and regulatory compliance. She represents Native American tribes and other public and private entities in a broad range of matters, including with respect to water resources, land management, and economic development.
Over the course of a decade, she built a practice handling civil and criminal litigation, internal investigations, and public contracting matters. She later served as an attorney-advisor for the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Solicitor, where she advised on federal land management, reclamation law, and environmental policies. Her work involved navigating complex regulatory frameworks, handling administrative and judicial appeals, and addressing legal issues related to Federal Reclamation laws, Federal Land Policy and Management Act, General Mining Law, National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, and the Administrative Procedure Act. Grace brings a unique perspective shaped by her federal service, offering valuable insights to clients on environmental and natural resource matters.
