Janitch, Danielle D.

Janitch, Danielle D.

Danielle Janitch helps companies in Arizona grow and take advantage of new opportunities by handling their day-to-day legal needs. She serves as general counsel to large and mid-sized businesses, helping them prepare for future growth and development.
Danielle understands the power and potential threat that cybersecurity and data privacy pose for growing ventures in Arizona and throughout the nation. Her practice addresses these concerns to ensure companies are leveraging their most valuable assets, which is often their intellectual property. Her legal counsel includes solutions for licensing and use rights, privacy protection, distribution, data management and protection, as well as procurement and trademark prosecution. Working with other members of the firm, Danielle is also a go-to source for advising businesses through a data breach.
Though her core practice centers on issues related to cybersecurity, data protection, privacy, intellectual property, and other technology-related matters, Danielle’s clients also rely on her experience to help launch new products and services. In this regard, she drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts to minimize risk and outline clear business sales terms. She helps launch the product or service to the public and organizes market beta testing. When needed, Danielle can train other in-house representatives and work directly with her clients’ IT teams.
Before joining Osborn Maledon, Danielle was a judicial clerk for Judge Roslyn O. Silver of the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona. She is a graduate of Stanford Law School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Danielle served as an officer in the United States Army.
Legal organizations and her peers have recognized Danielle for her legal excellence. She was included in the “Top Forty Under 40” list by Phoenix Business Journal and named a Rising Star by Southwest Super Lawyers in the areas of Intellectual Property and Business/Corporate. Several times a year she moderates and speaks at legal and business programs concerning cybersecurity and intellectual property.
As an active member of the community, Danielle is the Past President of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association. She regularly volunteers her time pro bono and counsels several non-profits. She is associated with Angels on Patrol, an organization helping to provide police officer-initiated support to community members in times of crisis, and has been active for many years in supporting ICAN, a non-profit organization that provides free services to youth in the Chandler Redevelopment Area. She has organized countless Chemistry Magic Shows and coding events at local science centers, schools, and community centers.
