A partner with the firm since 1988, Mr. McMenamy is a civil trial lawyer who handles a broad array of matters. His primary areas of focus are contract and tort law, and he regularly represents both corporations and individuals as either plaintiffs or defendants in the courtroom. His contract litigation ranges from construction law to distribution rights and the enforcement of non-disclosure or non-competition agreements, while his tort practice usually involves an injury alleged to have been caused by negligence, professional negligence, occupational exposure, or product defect. Mr. McMenamy has also served as counsel for a local zoning board of adjustment for almost 20 years and is a member of the zoning board of adjustment in the town where he resides. He has expertise in land use matters and has represented developers and objectors before municipal boards and in related land use and prerogative writ litigation.
During law school, Mr. McMenamy served as Editor of the Rutgers Law Review. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. McMenamy clerked for the Honorable Herman D. Michels, Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
