Dennis has been a practicing Advocate of the High Court of Uganda for over 17 years. He is a Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths. He has attained specialized training in corporate governance and commercial transactions in London, Dubai and Johannesburg and he is an LLM candidate at the University of London. Dennis is a member of the East African Law Society and Uganda Law Society.
Dennis has extensive experience in advising on legal and regulatory compliance in the energy and electricity sectors and he has successfully structured energy and electricity projects and public private partnerships. His practice areas include the energy and electricity sectors, contract negotiation & drafting and tax compliance advisory services. He is involved in civil litigation and has successfully prosecuted landmark cases in Uganda’s Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. He acts as company secretary for Uganda Electricity Transmission Company, Phenix Logistics Limited and Hashi Energy Uganda Limited.
Mr, Wamala has vast experience in litigation matters especially civil litigation. He has been lead counsel in a number of landmark cases which have greatly contributed to the jurisprudence of Uganda.
