Jonathan R. Burns concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and taxation.  While in law school at the University of Mississippi, Jonathan realized his desire to help others make sure their financial affairs were in order from a legal standpoint, which led him to pursue and obtain an L.L.M. in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis, with a primary focus on estate planning.

Before joining the firm, Jonathan practiced law in Nashville at an esteemed local firm where he was able to develop his skills in the areas of business law and estate planning.

Jonathan lives in Franklin with his wife Amy and together they have one child.  They are active members of Clearview Baptist Church, and Jonathan enjoys being on the golf course whenever time allows.
