Janieve joined Ellul & Cruz as an associate in November 2015. Her professional interests include criminal and civil litigation, matrimonial law, employment law and personal injury work. More recently, she has been assisting the senior partner in various matrimonial matters and non-contentious probate work.
Janieve is an LLB Graduate from Cardiff University. She completed the Bar Professional Training Course at Cardiff University Law School in 2014 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in July that same year. Between August 2014 and December 2014, Janieve secured a placement at Karp Frosh Wigodsky, a law firm in Washington DC, as part of the Gibraltar Government’s initiative with The Washington Centre.
She was admitted as a Barrister of the Supreme Court of Gibraltar in June 2015. In 2016, she was appointed a Commissioner for Oaths.
Janieve is currently reading for a Professional Certificate in Gibraltar Law at the University of Gibraltar in order to obtain a solid foundation in the Gibraltar legal system.
