Nick began his career as a trainee accountant in July 2007 and after completing his ACCA exams in 2011, he joined the Board of Peregrine Corporate Services (Now Atla Fiduciaries Limited) in 2015 and is responsible for running the in-house tax and accounts department and oversees the preparation of accounts and international tax compliance for clients operating in multiple jurisdictions as well as working with the Board on the continuous strategic growth of the business.
Nick, has recently been made Managing Director for Atla Fiduciaries Limited and sits on the board of client entities and Atla Fiduciaries Limited Corporate Trustee in order to add direct value to our clients.
His background in Accounting and Tax has made him the ideal person in the Team to monitor and advise clients on their potential FATCA and CRS classifications as well as taking a leading role in assisting clients adhere to the Island’s Substance regulations.
Having worked throughout various areas of fiduciary businesses during the course of his career, Nick has developed an in depth knowledge of client needs, an approach he strives to bring to clients old and new to ensure they get the most appropriate, efficient and high quality service.
His considerable experience working in a regulated business sector has led to him taking Board positions in Online Gambling Regulation Act licensed entities under the approval of the Gambling Supervision Commission as well as assisting Inspectors and Receivers on Financial Services Authority appointments and holding Board appointments in Isle of Man Designated Businesses.
As an experienced Accountant, Nick has been invited to be a member of the Accountancy Steering Committee on International Networks, a role he has enjoyed bringing his input to.
