Ryan Swanson Welcomes New Members to Growing Immigration Team

We would like to introduce some recent additions to our expanding Immigration team here at Ryan Swanson.

Lindsay Cason, Associate - Lindsay worked as a summer associate with Ryan Swanson in 2019, until returning to finish law school at the University of Washington. At U.W. she served as a legal intern at Kids in Need of Defense and was a Dean’s Medalist and recipient of the 2018 Justice John Paul Stevens Public Interest Fellowship. Lindsay was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and enjoys going on hikes with her black Labrador Willow.

Samantha Taylor, Paralegal - Prior to joining Ryan Swanson, Samantha was an immigration and corporate paralegal working in both large and small firms and for a nonprofit corporation. While she was born and raised in Chicago, Sam and her family relocated to the Northwest, where she became an avid windsurfer.

Lee Glidewell, Paralegal - Before joining Ryan Swanson, Lee had more than four years of experience as a paralegal in business immigration. Prior to that, he worked as an assistant in the visa section of the Canadian Consulate in Seattle. Lee grew up in the Seattle area and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington before moving to the Midwest to pursue a graduate degree. Lee enjoys running, cooking, and telling Dad jokes.

Pamela Derck, Paralegal - Prior to joining Ryan Swanson, Pam was a research consultant at an international think tank and English teacher in Shenzhen, China. She first took an interest in immigration upon returning from China to start graduate school. Many of her coworkers and classmates were international students or were on work visas. Seeing so many of her friends struggling to stay in the United States piqued her interest in the area.

Our team is growing to meet our clients’ needs, and we are excited to have Lindsay, Samantha, Lee, and Pam join the rest of our Immigration team: Marsha Mavunkel, Janet Cheetham, Joel Paget, Amy Royalty, Cody Nunn, Jeng-Ya Chen, Natisha Demko, Brenda Ferderer, Carol Manahan, Hiromi Peltonen, Rathchovy Ran, Allison Wilder, Rob Loudon, Daniel Soria, Maricela Pinon and Ryan Florek.
