We are delighted to share that Indumathi G., Senior Associate at Kochhar & Co., has secured 2nd place in the World Intellectual Property Day 2025 Youth Video Competition hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)!
The theme of this year’s competition was “Tuning in with the music of innovation and creativity,” encouraging young minds to explore the connection between music, IP rights, and innovation.
Out of entries from 67 countries, only two Indian submissions made it to the top 20—and we are proud that Indumathi is the only Indian entrant to feature in the winners list, recognised in the General Judging Category based on merit.
Her winning entry, “Chooda’s Isai Ula,” beautifully highlighted the IP potential in everyday life and local communities, carrying the message: “IP is everywhere and in everyone, just like how Music is.”
This global recognition comes with a prize of digital equipment worth 3000 CHF and eligibility for training opportunities offered by the WIPO Academy.
