Casner & Edwards Partner Steven M. Ayr Chairs MCLE Program, “How & Why to Do an F Reorganization”

Casner & Edwards partner Steven M. Ayr chaired the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) program, “How & Why to Do an F Reorganization,” on May 8. The program provided a high-level overview of what an F-reorganization is, when it is a useful legal and tax strategy (and when it isn’t), and how and when an F-reorganization is typically accomplished. Ayr and fellow faculty shared tips for guiding clients through the F-reorganization process, along with additional resources as they review whether such a reorganization makes sense in a specific case. A recorded webcast of the event will be available on May 23 and June 2. For more information, visit here.

Ayr focuses his practice on a wide variety of business and corporate matters, representing businesses and their founders in a range of industries through all stages of their life-cycle.
