Our Chief Operating Officer Debbie Choa is now an ASL partner.
Debbie began her 1st 3 years in litigation followed by 16 years in the corporate field. As a partner is a leading boutique law firm, her practice encompassed a broad range of areas including equity and debt capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and debt restructuring.
From 2015 until early 2022, she was part of the founding team of Projek57, an award-winning accredited social enterprise focused on nation-building, which aspires to influence youths from multicultural backgrounds and empower indigenous Malaysian youths.
In April 2022, she rejoined legal practice as the Chief Operating Officer at ASL where she combines her legal expertise with management. She focuses on exploring ways to enhance the firm’s practice, including enhancing efficiency, strengthening overall capability and formulating business strategies.
Debbie continues to volunteer in Projek57's current projects empowering pre-school indigenous children, and is an advocate of the fostering of social cohesion through community initiatives.
