A record number of lawyers from leading law firm Blake Morgan have been recognised in the 2025 Chambers High Net Worth Guide, which identifies the top performing lawyers and firms within the UK’s private wealth sector. Eight lawyers from the firm’s Private Wealth teams were ranked this year – an increase from six in 2024.

For a third consecutive year, four of Blake Morgan’s Private Wealth teams achieved the highly-regarded ranking of Band 2. This includes the Private Wealth Law teams from Wales, Oxford, and Southampton, in addition to the accolades for the Private Wealth Disputes team in the Thames Valley. Clients highlighted "strong technical knowledge" and "caring advice", with more praise including:

"Blake Morgan has expertise and experience in understanding a wide range of more complex issues when helping private clients with legacy planning."

"Blake Morgan is extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. I would recommend it unreservedly."

Leading individual lawyers were also acknowledged by the Guide and ranked for offering outstanding legal advice.  This year, eight of Blake Morgan’s experts were singled out, including Partner Lisa Davies who achieved the prestigious Band 1 for another consecutive year.  Senior Associate Jonathon Sleep also maintained his ranking as a ‘Star Associate’.

In the Guide, clients recognised Lisa as "very good technically" and "a very good probate lawyer", while Jonathon was praised for "providing an excellent service in all respects". Tom Middlehurst also retained his ranking at Band 2.

Paula Shea rose up to Band 2 this year, from Band 3 in 2024, with client testimonials describing her as "very knowledgeable, hard-working and committed individual," and "providing me great confidence." Three of Blake Morgan’s lawyers were ranked in the Guide for the first time in this edition – with Simon Treherne achieving a respected Band 3 ranking, while Karmen Ko was recognised as a ‘Star Associate’ and Kathryn Woodward was named an ‘Associate to watch’.

Clients appreciated Simon as "good at managing difficult situations and complex scenarios", while Karmen was credited for her showing "a compassionate awareness of how these affairs impact my life, not just focused on the technical achievement of legal matters," and Kathryn was highlighted for being "extremely competent and efficient."

Helen Bunker, Chair and Head of Private Client at Blake Morgan, said:

"Another year of hard work and excellent client support and advice from our Private Wealth team has been reflected in these fantastic results – with a record number of lawyers from Blake Morgan recognised this year.

"We’re proud that the consistent, high-quality service that we provide to clients is being celebrated in teams and individuals across our UK offices. It’s wonderful to see so many of our colleagues being ranked in the Guide for the first time this year, alongside the talented members of our team who have retained their positions from 2024, or risen up even higher in 2025."
