Casner & Edwards Partner Nicole M. Jorge Named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2025 “Top Women of Law” List

Boston law firm Casner & Edwards LLP announces that partner Nicole M. Jorge has been named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2025 “Top Women of Law” list. This highly coveted honor celebrates the exceptional accomplishments of women attorneys as leaders, educators and mentors in their practice, and for their pro bono, social justice, advocacy and business efforts. Jorge joins an esteemed line of Casner colleagues who have received this honor in previous years, including Lorraine P. Stark, Renee Inomata, Anita S. Lichtblau, Sharon C. Lincoln, Lynne F. Riley, Joanne E. Romanow, Dawn Stolfi Stalenhoef and Katie L.S. Von Kohorn.

Jorge is a highly skilled family law attorney dedicated to high conflict divorce, custody, and domestic abuse matters. She has nearly two decades of experience handling all aspects of domestic relations, including divorce, custody, modification, child support, paternity, and guardianship matters.

Jorge previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County. While there, she acted as a Special Assistant District Attorney responsible for investigating the potential civil commitment of Sexually Dangerous Persons. She also served as a prosecutor in multiple District Courts and acted as the supervisor of the Ayer District Court and the Cambridge District Court. Additionally, Jorge investigated and prosecuted narcotics distribution cases, public corruption cases, and white collar crimes for the Superior Court Special Investigations Unit.
