Barack Ferrazzano Names Four New Partners

Barack Ferrazzano is pleased to announce that four associates, Alexander F. Berk (Bankruptcy & Creditor Rights), Victoria Rusanova Cordiak (Corporate & Securities), Euna Park (Real Estate), and Marlow Svatek (Litigation), have been promoted to partner.

Alexander Berk leverages his experience representing creditors and debtors of all sizes to advise clients on how to successfully navigate in- and out-of-court disputes and transactions involving financial distress. He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting Chapter 11 plans, sale orders, financing documents, and settlement agreements, as well as litigating contested motions in court.

Victoria Cordiak advises clients on all aspects of M&A and other strategic transactions, with an eye toward structuring deals in a way that advances her clients’ long-term objectives. She represents U.S. and multinational clients on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and financings, debt- and equity-securities offerings, licensing and intellectual-property agreements, and corporate-governance matters. Vicky also serves as co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, dedicating significant time to supporting individuals in need and nonprofit organizations.

Euna Park represents a wide range of clients in complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, sale-leasebacks, secured and unsecured financing, restructuring, and joint ventures. She has significant experience in the hospitality industry, representing clients on full-service, limited-service, franchised, and brand-managed hotel transactions. Euna works with clients to pinpoint, discuss, and address material business and legal issues, all with the objective of achieving the clients' specific goals.

Marlow Svatek represents clients in the fashion, luxury brand, and motor vehicle industries in consumer class actions, complex business disputes, and employment and customer discrimination lawsuits. She is a strategic and versatile litigator who draws on her experience clerking for federal trial and appellate judges to craft persuasive arguments and develop effective litigation strategies at every stage of a case. Marlow also maintains an active pro bono practice and has been recognized for her pro bono work by the National Immigrant Justice Center and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
