Casner & Edwards announces that the firm has elevated David Koha and K. Adam Kunst to partner effective January 1, 2026.

“David and Adam have earned this elevation through their outstanding legal skills, dedication to clients, and commitment to the firm,” said Michael F. Zullas, Casner & Edwards’ Managing Partner. “Each brings distinct strengths to the partnership, and both embody the collaborative culture and excellence that define our firm. We are proud to welcome them as partners.”

Koha practices in Casner’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring and Litigation Groups. He has extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts representing businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals in contract disputes, trade secret litigation, employment issues, real estate matters, and other business disputes. He has significant experience in bankruptcy litigation and appeals, including fraudulent transfer, preference, and nondischargeability proceedings. Koha has published numerous articles on bankruptcy topics, and has taught bankruptcy as an adjunct professor at Boston College Law School and New England Law School.

He also advises clients on post-divorce matters, including enforcement of court orders through contempt actions, and pursuing or defending modifications to custody, parenting time, and support, as well as addressing jurisdictional issues and removal actions. Kunst has a background in public service, having served for two years in the National Civilian Community Corps, an AmeriCorps program.
