Casner & Edwards announces that attorney Drew S. Douglas-Steele has been named a 2026 Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Excellence in the Law honoree in the category of “Up & Coming Lawyer.” This award recognizes Massachusetts attorneys who have been practicing for 10 years or less but who have already distinguished themselves in the legal community. Douglas-Steele and fellow honorees will be celebrated at a reception in Boston on March 24.
Douglas-Steele provides a wide array of legal services to nonprofit entities, including assistance with formation, dissolution, day-to-day operations, modification of charitable restrictions, charitable registration and fundraising questions, governance, and tax-exempt status. She also advises clients on a range of for-profit corporate matters such as formation, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, licensure requirements, and corporate governance.
