Between 1st July 2024 and 30th June 2025, our team advised on several market-first initiatives including Malaysia’s first Islamic corporate-offtake renewable-energy financings; the first property-sector Sustainability-Linked sukuk embedding environmental KPIs; distributed solar-energy Islamic financing under the Corporate Green Power Programme; ESG-integrated sukuk for plantations and healthcare; and sustainable public-transport infrastructure funding.
These transactions align Shariah-compliant finance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Malaysia’s SRI and ESG policy frameworks. We remain committed to pioneering innovative sukuk and project-financing structures that combine Islamic principles with measurable sustainability outcomes.
