Casner & Edwards announces that Peter F. Cifichiello has joined the firm as a partner in the Business & Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. Cifichiello advises small and mid-cap companies, entrepreneurs, investment entities, and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate transactional matters. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, equity and convertible financings, and corporate structuring and governance.
Cifichiello also counsels clients on commercial transactions that involve vendor and consumer services, licensing, joint ventures as well as investor rights matters. He frequently serves as outside general counsel, offering strategic guidance tailored to each client’s business objectives, risk tolerance, corporate structures, intellectual property, and financial position.

Prior to entering private practice, Cifichiello served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander and was awarded two Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medals and a Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
He received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. from Tulane University.
