Casner & Edwards Recognized Among Massachusetts Lawyer Weekly’s “In the Lead: Best Legacy Law Firms”

Boston law firm Casner & Edwards announces that the firm was recognized among Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2026 “In the Lead: Best Legacy Law Firms.” This recognition celebrates Massachusetts businesses that have shown prolonged success and an ability to successfully navigate changing client needs, legal developments, technology, and economic environments. The firm is featured in the publication’s June 29th edition.

Founded in 1974, Casner & Edwards’s legacy has been shaped by remarkable achievements, contributions to the judiciary, and rapid growth from humble beginnings into a highly respected institution. The founders’ early precedent of placing “service to clients before self” continues to influence the character of the firm today.

“We are honored to be recognized among the best legacy law firms of Massachusetts,” said Casner Managing Partner Michael F. Zullas. “Casner & Edwards’ client-centric approach, longstanding relationships with clients and the community, deep bench of talent, and strategic evolution have positioned our firm to deliver top-notch legal services for over 50 years.”

To be selected as a Best Legacy Law Firm, a firm must demonstrate success through growth in revenue or employees, have previous recognition as a best workplace because of employee support programs, display a high level of employee morale, and can demonstrate strong and consistent community engagement.

Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly reports decisions issued by all the state and federal courts in Massachusetts, as well as changes to court rules, verdict and settlement reports, bar-discipline notices, and all other news vital to attorneys in the commonwealth. It also covers hundreds of rulings from state and federal trial courts in Massachusetts.
