BoyneClarke LLP (Nova Scotia, Canada), one of Atlantic Canada's largest law firms, is pleased to announce that Claire E. Milton, Q.C., has joined us in the practice of law with a focus on general corporate and business law, governance, securities, regulatory compliance, acquisitions and financing matters.

Claire, recently General Counsel of High Liner Foods Inc., is experienced in corporate governance and holds the ICD.D designation of the Institute of Corporate Directors.  She has also assumed other business leadership roles, including interim chief operating officer of a mutual insurance company.

A past governor of Mount Saint Vincent University, Claire has been involved with many community organizations, including Metro United Way.  Claire has written and presented to several industry organizations, and Co-Chaired the 2007 Annual Conference of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.  She was interviewed for the book, “Made in Canada Leadership: Wisdom from the Nation's Best and Brightest on the Art and Practice of Leadership”.  We invite you to visit our website for more information on Claire as well as our Business Law Team.
