Mark Lichty Speaking at CDL 2011 Conference
Mark Lichty, chair of the firm's Coverage Counsel Group, will be a guest speaker at the Canadian Defence Lawyers  Annual  Conference in St John's Newfoundland on June 15 , 2011  on the topic of  "Emerging CGL Trends". 

Blaneys Coverage Lawyers Lecturing at Canadian Institute Insurance Claims Forum
Several members of the firm's Insurance Coverage Counsel Group will be lecturing at the Canadian Institute's 10th Annual Insurance Forum, Effectively Managing Insurance Claims and Litigation, slated for June 21-22, 2011 in Toronto.  Mark Lichty and Jason Mangano will co-present a pre-forum workshop on "Deriving Practical Skills for Interpreting CGL Contracts to Minimize Risks" on June 20th.  David MacKenzie will co-present a "Case Study: Dissecting GE v Aviva to Clarify the Essential Issues of Timing of Loss and Allocation of Costs" on June 21st.

Marcus Snowden to Present at ABA TIPS Webinar
The 2011 Annual Meeting of the American Bar Association will be held in Toronto in August.  Marcus Snowden has been asked to participate in a panel discussion presented by the ABA's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) as part of a web-based seminar for cross-border coverage counsel entilted, Race to the Courthouse: Resolution and Litigation of Complex Cross-Border Insurance Coverage Disputes and Bad Faith Cases, on Friday, August 5, 2011.  Jason Mangano is assisting Marcus with the written materials for the webinar.
