Roy Wagner, a Shareholder and Chair of the Construction Law and Litigation Section at von Briesen & Roper s.c. (Wisconsin, USA), was honored in October as ‘Educator of the Year’ by The Daily Reporter.
The 2013 “Newsmakers of the Year” honors those who make significant contributions to the construction industry and community. Wagner, who has been practicing law for 35 years, hopes through his presentations to pass on risk management techniques without having to learn the hard way: “When there is a construction claim, there are lessons that are learned and they’re expensive.” Wagner, in addition to assisting owners, developers and construction professionals with their projects, has presented to dozens of construction related associations throughout Wisconsin and conducts seminars on risk management, best practices, minimizing construction claims, construction practices and facility management.
