Chilean Law Firm Guerrero Olivos expands its labour area

Because of the growing demand for labour legal services, collective bargaining and labour fundamental rights litigation, Guerrero Olivos has expanded its team by absorbing the boutique law firm “Estudio García de la Pastora”, which specializes exclusively in this area.

Mrs. Rocío García de la Pastora, a well recognized attorney and pre-and post-graduate professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, both in labour law and in litigation, will be incorporated as a senior counsel, leading Guerrero Olivos the labour practice in Guerrero Olivos.

Guerrero Olivos also welcomes Mr. Sergio Fiuca, lawyer and expert on labour and constitutional matters, and assistant professor in constitutional and political law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Guerrero Olivos announced that the above absorption was focused on strengthening a relevant practice area for its clients, including the design of legal strategies for facing the new challenges of the recently enacted labour reform in Chile.
