Kochhar Honored
Rohit Kochhar, Chairman and Managing Partner of TAGLaw's India member firm, has been awarded the International Council of Jurists Award by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Manmohan Singh for his "distinctive accomplishment in the areas of corporate law and legal entrepreneurship". The Award was conferred on Mr. Kochhar last month in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India.

Balakrishnan, the Chief Justice of India.The only two other awardees in the "international category" were Mr. Ram Jethmalani, Senior Advocate and former Law Minister and the current Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, Mr. Beverley Mclachlin (for administration of justice) whose Award was received by the Canadian High Commissioner to India, Mr. Joseph Caron.
