GMcG Chartered Accountants Appoints Paul Black to Director Team

GMcG Chartered Accountants has added to its Director team with the appointment of Paul Black. Based at the firm’s Belfast office, Paul has been a senior member of GMcG’s Forensic Accounting and Investigation team for more than a decade, consistently delivering exceptional results for clients across a range of commercial litigation and matrimonial cases.

Paul has had a central role in helping the GMcG Forensic team retain its position as one of the leading providers of litigation support services to the legal sector in Northern Ireland. He will continue to work alongside Gabriel Greene, lead Director Forensic Accounting & Investigation, in shaping the growth of the team and in the development of new and innovative service offerings for the legal sector.

Paul’s expertise has seen him work with legal teams and their clients across various disciplines of forensic accounting. He has undertaken further studies and qualification through a Diploma in Corporate Finance with Chartered Accountants Ireland and oversees a wide range of commercial litigation and matrimonial matters. His role includes additional responsibility for developing and building on that body of work. Commenting on the appointment, Gabriel Greene says:

“We’re delighted for Paul and what he has achieved within the firm. His track record of delivering results for clients speaks for itself, with expertise that has regularly been at the forefront of some of the most complex cases in this jurisdiction.

With an impressive portfolio of skills and client relationships developed over a 17 year period, it came as no surprise that Paul would join the firm’s Director team.”

Susan Dunlop, GMcG Managing Director, adds:

“Paul is a tremendous asset to the firm and his appointment as Director is due recognition for the value he has brought to both the Forensic Accounting and Investigation department and to the wider firm.

Paul will bring considerable strategic insight and experience to the Director team and we look forward to working with him in helping shape the future direction and growth of the firm.”
